As we enter the final months of 2014, car manufacturers around the world are unveiling their models for the upcoming year.
Innovations and upgrades are being made in all sectors of the automotive market – and while it’s impossible to choose a ‘top’ four from such a wide range, here are four of the biggest developments across the different categories. As specialists in luxury and international car transport, we see our fare share of some of the world’s best cars, but that doesn’t stop us from getting exited about next year’s new models. Here’s our countdown of the ones to watch for 2015.
Luxury – Bentley Mulsanne

The Bentley Mulsanne Speed was unveiled in Paris in October 2014, and marks the ultimate combination of luxury and speed – at least according to the manufacturer.
A top speed of 190mph and a 0-60mph time of 4.8 seconds proves that this 530bhp twin-turbo V8 is more than just a pretty face – and it’s just one new entry in the 2015 Mulsanne range.
It was accompanied by an upgraded Bentley Signature Mulsanne for the 2015 market, with a 13% improvement in energy efficiency, and smoother gear changes.

Sport – Audi TT Roadster

A new Audi is always a headline-grabber, and the Audi TT Roadster will be hotly anticipated by many motorists keen to experience some top-down driving in a vehicle that will be the envy of other road users.
The all-new Audi TT Roadster is built in a hybrid aluminium and steel construction, with what the manufacturer calls an “all-digital virtual cockpit”.
It’s due for delivery in the spring, but orders can be placed from November 2014 at prices of £31,995 and upwards.
SUV – Range Rover
The 2015 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport incorporate features like panoramic roofs with power blinds, and puddle lamps that “light the way for occupants” by projecting the silhouette of the vehicle on to the ground at night.
Phil Popham, group marketing director at Jaguar Land Rover, said: “As the world’s best luxury and premium sporting SUVs, the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport have long offered an unrivalled combination of performance, luxury and off-road capability.”
Muscle – Ford Mustang

The 50th anniversary of the Ford Mustang in 2015 is the perfect excuse for a new edition of this ever-popular muscle car, and that’s just what Ford have in mind.
Ford have distilled the car down to its very core – rear-wheel drive with a V8 engine, a four-seat cabin and a sizeable trunk – and built around that distillation.
“To the people inside Ford, Mustang is considered the heart and soul of the company,” said vice-president of global design Moray Callum.
With that in mind, this could ultimately be the vehicle that captures the imagination of the motoring market during the coming year.
